Veterans Final Expense Insurance Focuses on Providing Funeral Insurance & Coverage for Final Expenses Nationwide
About Us
Committed to You, Always
You served your country. Now let us serve you. Our objective is to assist every Veteran in securing coverage for their final expenses. With a selection from dozens of insurance companies, we maintain impartiality, not favoring any single provider. Our sole aim is to guarantee that you secure the most favorable plan at the most competitive price, tailored to your specific needs.
Veterans Final Expense Insurance covers funeral and other final expenses up to $50,000, easing the financial burden on families and protecting loved ones’ savings.
While you can access a National Cemetery for your burial plot, headstone, opening and closing, and grave liner at no cost, the expenses for body preparation, transportation, and the casket/urn will still fall on your family. Instead of leaving your loved ones with these expenses, consider leaving them with financial support. Obtain a Personalized Quote.
Veterans Final Expense Insurance guarantees acceptance within certain age ranges, often without medical exams, making it simple and accessible even with pre-existing conditions. Some policies may be subject to a two-year waiting period.
Approved premiums that never change.

How It Works
Simple Solutions for Veterans and Their Families
Schedule your no-obligation, FREE consultation with one of our licensed agents to review your coverage options and determine the BEST option for you and your loved ones. Our process is designed to be simple, respectful, and stress-free — giving every family, especially veterans and their families, the peace of mind they deserve.

You could qualify if you are covering funeral expenses without reimbursement from any other source. Also, you must not have been dishonorably discharged. Upon establishing eligibility, you may be entitled to a VA burial allowance for burial and funeral expenses, a VA plot allowance for grave site costs (if not utilizing a national cemetery), or compensation for transportation.

Make sure your family has all required documents ready for application. This includes a copy of your DD214, the death certificate, any receipts or documents related to funeral expenses, and an account statement from the funeral director or cemetery owner.

Your family should submit a claim for a non-service connected burial allowance within two years of your death. For a service-connected burial allowance, there is no deadline for filing a claim. Reimbursement will be issued to your surviving family members based on the current claim processing times. It's important to note that there's no assurance of immediate fund disbursement, so it's crucial for your family to be financially prepared.
We partner with companies you can trust to get the right deal for you.
Do You Have S-DVI or VGLI?
If you possess Service-Disabled Veterans Life Insurance (S-DVI), you have two choices. You can either apply for VALife now or retain your S-DVI coverage. If you opt to apply immediately, your S-DVI coverage will remain in force during the 2-year waiting period. Your S-DVI coverage, including policies with premium waivers, will cease once the 2-year waiting period for VALife is completed. Premiums must be paid for both policies during this waiting period. It’s essential to note that VALife does not provide premium waivers. If you currently benefit from a premium waiver, it may be advisable to explore other options.
In the case of Veterans Group Life Insurance (VGLI), you can also secure a VALife policy in addition to or as a replacement. VGLI offers increasing term coverage, with premiums increasing every 5 years (up to age 80, at which point premiums remain fixed for life). Carefully assess the potential price increase to determine whether continuing your VGLI coverage is the most suitable choice.

How to Select Veterans Final Expense Coverage
When you’re considering final expense coverage, it’s important to consult a licensed insurance broker who specializes in this type of protection. Just as you would visit a specialist doctor for specific health needs, working with an experienced insurance professional ensures you choose the right amount of coverage for your situation. At Veterans Final Expense Insurance, our licensed agents are here to guide you every step of the way. We’ll design a policy that fits your budget and meets your family’s needs, while making the process simple and stress-free. Our mission is to protect what matters most in your life — and to provide peace of mind for veterans and their families across the country.
We work with top-rated insurance carriers known for financial strength and reliability, ensuring coverage that is affordable and dependable. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience with policies tailored to your unique needs, including those of veterans and their families.
It’s important to choose an insurance policy that fully covers funeral and burial costs and pays out quickly to ease your family’s burden. Coverage should be assessed carefully, with most states processing payouts promptly, though a two-year waiting period applies in suicide cases.
Consider whether you have children or elderly parents who rely on your support and how long they may need it. This will guide you in determining the right amount and duration of final expense coverage to protect their financial future.
Veterans Final Expense policies offer different coverage levels, with costs based on the amount chosen. Our licensed agents review your budget and financial situation to recommend an affordable plan that covers funeral and end-of-life expenses, protecting veterans and their families from financial stress.
